Hello Everyone,
My name is Jay,
Here is a little info about me personaly and why I am a personal trainer. When I was fourteen I was in a car accident and broke my back in several places and was paralyzed for a short period of time. Needless to say I was in alot of pain for a long time, I was told by various doctors that i would probably never function 100% ever again and that pain was going to be a daily for me. I BELIEVED THEM! I even considered claiming dissabilty, I went so far as to qualify for it. I did qualify, AT 25 YEARS OLD. That was the scariest thing I had heard since the doc told me i was paralyzed. Shortly after I was sitting and waiting to get my hair cut and I saw a magazine cover that read " Five simple exercises that could relieve pack pain" I thought sweet I'll try them. I did them and they seemed to work so I started to research more exercises and got more great results, to the point where not only was pain free but i was twenty lbs lighter and was running, thats right RUNNING, up to eight miles a day. It quickly became harder to reach the goals that I had set for myself, not because I was unmotived or lazy but because I just didn't know how to train properly. So I got myself a personal trainer, best move ever, I lost an additional fifteen lbs of fat and gained muscle and strength that I never new was possible. I am now doing things I never dreamed I'd be doing like playing on the ground with my daughters and taking them for hikes and picking them up for a hug. Its amazing the things we miss out on because we are not healthy. Exercise saved me from a life of pain and misery!!!
I am now a nationaly certified personal trainer and nutritionist. I have been training for five years now and love it. The reason I became a trainer was to keep myself healthy by learning how to exercise and eat properly. Now I would like to share everything I have learned and will learn with you.
